Data collected

When you use the contact form, the firm collects the following data:

  • name;
  • email address;
  • telephone number (optional);
  • subject and content of your request.

This is the data you choose to provide. At this stage, you are advised to share only the information needed to present your request.

Purposes and legal basis

Your data is used solely to process your request, reply to you and, where appropriate, arrange an appointment. This processing is based on your consent, given by ticking the box in the form, and on pre-contractual measures taken at your request.

Recipients

Your data is intended solely for Thomas DOSSET. It is not sold, transferred or passed on to third parties for commercial purposes. The website host (OVH SAS) has access to it solely as a technical service provider.

Professional secrecy

Information you entrust to the firm is covered by lawyer–client professional secrecy, under the conditions laid down by law.

Retention period

Data sent via the form is kept for 3 years from the last contact if your request does not lead to a case being opened. If a case is opened, it is kept for as long as necessary to handle the case, then archived in accordance with the legal and ethical obligations applicable to the legal profession.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act (loi « Informatique et libertés »), you have the following rights:

  • the right to access, rectify and erase your data;
  • the right to restrict processing and the right to object;
  • the right to data portability;
  • the right to withdraw your consent at any time;
  • the right to set instructions regarding the use of your data after your death.
